On December 6th, the first phase of the Miaotou Old Village renovation project's relocation and resettlement housing was successfully held, marking the substantive stage of the villagers' relocation and resettlement work. The first batch of villagers will officially relocate to new houses in early 2026.

At present, Guangzhou Chengtou Urban Renewal Group is making every effort to finalize the project, and the first batch of villagers will officially relocate to new houses in early 2026.
This time, there are a total of 609 sets of properties available, covering 8 types of housing layouts, ranging in area from 79 ㎡ to 105 ㎡, including 2-bedroom, 2-bedroom, 2-bedroom, 2-bedroom, 2-bedroom, 2-bedroom, 2-bedroom, 2-bedroom, 2-bedroom, etc., with more than 700 supporting parking spaces, fully meeting the differentiated living needs of villagers.
The planning end integrates cultural heritage with the needs of all age living, and the spatial layout adopts a "one ring, five zones" structure, with the "vibrant leisure ring" as the core link, organically connecting the dynamic and static zones and the home flow within the community, forming a coherent and hierarchical living network. The architectural style is modern Lingnan Chinese style, integrating elements such as Loong Boat, waves, cornices and corners, echoing the silk culture. The layout of the unit is based on the regional climate characteristics, adopting an inverted cross shaped layout facing north and south, ensuring that 94% of the units achieve south facing lighting and maximize the use of natural light. It is expected to start construction in mid to late December.
